What is CMC and What is it for?
The CMC stands for Cell Membrane Complex, also referred to as a Lamellar Structure. It exists between the cuticles and the cortex of each individual hair strand.
CMC is very important material to fix between cuticles and between keratin of the inside hair. It keeps the moisture in haire. The water and lipid volume of inside hair are affected by condition of the CMC and the outside of hair. Without the CMC, the seolutions of colors and perms are less effective.
